MDS-UPDRS: Clinical Trials
The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society has established a Training Program & Exercise for use of the MDS-Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale. This program allows candidates to learn about the use of this scale, see examples of a rater administering the test to patients, and to view examples of the rating items for the Motor Examination (Part III). There is an official Exercise at the end of the Teaching Program.
Licensing fees are per scale, per translation, per trial. This is separate from rater fees. Raters are defined as anyone who will be administering the scale Rater fees are $1000 USD for MDS members and $1500 USD for non-members.
